A County welcome sign in a colorful flower bed, backed by gently rolling terrain planted with native species, blends into a recreation area featuring sports fields, walking trails and picnic areas. Further west, a light industrial area catering to "green businesses" are surrounded by a landscaped buffer. Industrial recycling and transfer operations are set well back from the roadways, to avoid any adverse impact on adjacent lands
